I just have a question or thought and really don't even want to bring it up... I'm not real sure what I think about the death penalty anyways. But I was reading about the uncle of that poor Vermont girl. That he could get the death penalty for federal kidnapping charges. (Not even mentioning that he may have killed her. ) Is it me, or is it stupid to have a death penalty for kidnapping but not for raping a child? Just don't get it. Like I said, I'm not totally sure about how I feel about the death penalty, but where are these lawmakers priorities?

Oh... I just read that the charges would be something like 'kidnapping with death resulting'. They may not need to charge him with murder, cuz the prior charge could get him the death penalty. Boy, the law is complicated.

I hope the politicians keep writing death penalty proposals for child rapists until their fingers fall off.
