I've been thinking about you alot today and all the things you accomplished in your short little life. You have changed so many hearts and brought so many people together to fight against child abuse in your name. Such a legacy you have left for such a little girl!! I am so proud of you Riley Ann and I love you so much!!! Thank you Sheryl for letting us love her too.

Ryleighs Tee Shirt
Well I was able to get it off of her Friday morning. I sprayed it with Shout and there was not 1 stain on it (YEAH). Saturday morning, she had to wear it again to her bowling league. lol. Barbie, thank you, I will need more transfers, I have a feeling that I am going to have to keep Ryleigh supplied with tee shirts. lol. I cant figure out how to set my print to the mirror image. Also, I'm sorry, you were correct when you said I ordered 2 larges. I had ordered 1 for my daughter just incase she was able to attend. I wanted to make sure you had enough with you to be able to give 1 to those of us that did get to attend. Christina, if Sheryl doesn't have any buttons left, I will send mine to you. Ryleigh has one so I can share hers. Sheryl, Susan, Ruhla, Karen, Ray Ray. I'm sorry I wasnt able to make back to Galveston on saturday, My father is in the hospital, so I went to visit with him for awhile. They have him on morphine, the visit was interesting..lol. He almost had me convinced that one of my cousins was my nephew..lol, then he snapped to who I was talking about and corrected himself..It was the morphine talking. In june they put 2 stints in his rt leg, and he has severe pain in his leg and hip. They dont know what is causing the pain, but they are going to do some kind of doppler test on monday. Barb..Ryleigh seems to like Schott as well. Her mother has been teaching her, not to talk to strangers unless she is with her for the last couple of months, so I'm guessing this is why she had to warm up to people thursday. When she was younger, she had to hug and kiss everyone that was in the room when we got ready to leave some place, even people she really didn't know. In the grocery store once, we were leaving, and she walked over to this lady that had just entered the store, took hand and started to walk off with her, that frightened Missy, so she started working with her as soon as she was old enough to understand what a stranger was. In away I think it is good, but I also think that may be why she has to warm up to someone she doesnt know, because she used to know no strangers. I bought the Houston Chronicle, it had Sheryl, and Ray Ray photo in it, I showed to to Ryleigh and asked her, who they were and she named them both.
I agree about the "dirt & children" they have to get dirty, along with fresh air and sunshine, to stay healthy..She has never slept with it..lol

My grandaughter,
really enjoyed playing in the part of the park that was completed. Ryleigh played with Kristena, Troy (I believed was his name, forgive me if that isn't correct). I think Ryleigh brought half of the park home with her, this child has never in her life been that dirty. LOL. We didn't get home until sometime after midnight, she didn't go to sleep on the way home like she normally would have. When Missy started getting her ready for bed, Ryleigh started pointing at the pictures of Riley on her button and shirt telling her who Riley is and threw a fit not wanting to take her shirt off, so her mom let her sleep in it..Then removed the button and blue ribbon after she went to sleep. Normally Missy wouldnt have allowed her to go to bed without bath, let alone in a dirty T-shirt.

Now you made me cry again !!! How sweet to hear that. Ryleigh is adorable, just adorable. And Schott just loves her to death too. I'll try to find a sleep shirt her size and send her one w/ Riley's picture on it.

Now you will have to order more transfers...so Ryleigh will be able to have the ....days of the week....t-shirts, plus one for a ...sleep shirt.
Amazing how a sweet little girl, Riley Ann has left such a wonderful memory/impression on the smallest of children.
Dirt???? you say....well that is part of being a child. When I see children with the daily remains, I know that they have enjoyed their day to the fullest.

I am always thinking of you Riley, and your family. I dont think the pain of you being gone will every fade from their hearts nor ours. But, it is a blessing that through all of this, that they know what a wonderful Circle of Friends that have come together to be there whenever they need. God Bless all of those who support the Sawyers Family and friends. We all miss a precious wonderful little girl, Riley Ann Sawyers. She has forever bonded us together.

I told your Gram I would not take off my purple bracelet during your birthday week in March. Turns out, I haven't taken it off since. I've thought about you today, all day. Riley, I have thought all day about you and what you endured a year ago today. I am so sorry neither I nor anyone else was there to help and protect you. I imagined you waking up that day excited for new adventures. I still am as full of hatred and disgust for those monsters as I was when I first heard your story. I pray that you are safe in heaven. I am so, so sorry little angel. You were cheated out of your life. I am so sorry.
